Grasslands Public Schools is gauging interest from Brooks families to determine whether the minimum number of students can be reached to offer free busing to Bassano School.
Bassano offers K-12 education with a unique, smaller high school experience. Students can access academic support while exploring athletics, leadership, CTS, RAP, work experience, foods, art, sewing, 3D printing, community-based learning, and more. Indigenous cultural programming is also offered, with Blackfoot perspectives reflected throughout course outcomes and school activities.

Bassano School offers a connected school community with a unique smaller high school experience, where students have opportunities to build relationships, access academic support, and take part in school life in meaningful ways.
Students can get involved in academics, athletics, leadership, CTS, work experience, Registered Apprenticeship Programming (RAP), foods, art, sewing, 3D printing, community-based learning, and more. Bassano School also offers Indigenous cultural programming, with Blackfoot perspectives reflected through course outcomes and school activities, consistent with Alberta’s curriculum.
If there is enough confirmed interest, free busing from Brooks to Bassano School may be offered.

The Grasslands MHCB team is excited to partner with local community agencies to host Park Pop-Ups throughout July and August.
Join us for fun games, engaging activities and a chance to get outside, connect and enjoy time together. Whether you come with family, friends or on your own, there will be something for everyone!

-an extra change of clothes (especially for bus students)
-sunscreen
-water bottles
-hats





All herbicide applications will be in strict accordance with all regulations established by Alberta Environment, and rates will be at Federally approved label recommendations.
Herbicide warning signs will be placed on all treated Division Property. Please stay off treated areas until signs are removed.
