Bassano School Ski Trip Agenda Thursday, Feb 12th, 2026
A Few Reminders:
Clothing
Clothing should be layered to adapt to weather changes, with the head, hands, and feet well protected.
All students should bring the following items:
- warm jacket - sweater - water resistant gloves/mitts
- water resistant pants - neck tube or turtleneck - lip protection/sunscreen
- goggles or sunglasses - long underwear
Lift tickets
Lift tickets should be visible and placed on an article of clothing that will be worn for the duration of your visit. Ticket control and restricted lift access may be used to prevent students who are not skilled enough from accessing terrain that is beyond their ability levels.
Food
Food can be purchased at the cafeteria or students may bring a bag lunch. We will be stopping in Calgary for supper on the trip home. Some people in our school community are extremely allergic to nut products, so please exercise restraint in packing snacks that may contain nuts or nut by-products.
Lockers
Lockers are available on a first come first serve basis for $2 per entry. These are located near the day lodge. Each person is responsible for his or her own belongings.
Rules
All school rules and ski hill regulations will be strictly enforced. As this is a school event, there is to be NO SMOKING, CHEWING or VAPING anywhere throughout the day.
Snowboarding
It is recommended that all students who plan to snowboard have wrist guards. As the rental shop cannot provide these for students, they are encouraged to bring their own or borrow for the occasion.
